Three-time cancer survivor Jaxon Blumenthal and his family weren’t expecting special treatment on a recent Saturday night when they walked into Applebee’s of Chatsworth. But the Blumenthals quickly realized that a big, bright yellow table flanked by yellow balloons and a poster of Jaxon’s face was decorated just for them.

5th Annual Chords2Cure Concert raises money to fight pediatric cancer

A total of 25 talented local teens lent their voices and instruments in support of the 5th Annual Chords2Cure: Curing Pediatric Cancer One Chord at a Time benefit concert which took place Sunday, March 10 (2019) at the The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage at Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center.

Young artists fund pediatric cancer treatment breakthroughs with Chords2CureY CHORDS2CURE

Now a junior at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, Jaxon sang his heart out on March 10 at The Broad Stage, surrounded by family and friends, his cancer in remission. The joyful occasion was the fifth annual Chords2Cure Benefit Concert, a youth-led philanthropic rock show to raise awareness and funding for the treatment of pediatric cancer.
